Richard Haffey helped found Mystic Air Quality Consultants in Groton CT and served as an executive there for over thirty years. During that time, he organized staff and assigned industrial hygienists to clients’ buildings to address environmental concerns, including asbestos, lead, indoor air quality and mold. He created and presented certification training courses for professional contractors and consultants involved in inspection and remediation of toxic hazards and construction safety. Previously, he was active in publishing and writing education materials for parish religious education programs.
